The CFA has helped us to make financial aid decisions based on actual need rather than on our perception of the need.

What others are saying...

The school

Once your scholarship program is in place (with the help of our manual "A One-Day Tuition Assistance Program"), the process for the school is quite simple.

  1. Distribute applications to all interested families.
  2. When you (the CFA contact) receive an email notification that a family has applied, go online and print out your report or mail/fax the application with payment.
  3. If the family report has any verification messages, contact the family and ask them to verify certain reported items.
  4. The financial aid committee plugs the FACT figure (FACT = Family Anticipated Contribution Total, or in plain English, how much they can afford to pay) into the worksheet that helps them determine how much a family should be awarded, and makes an award decision.
  5. The committee (or the recruiter) meets with the family to notify them of how much assistance they will receive. The family signs the scholarship / tuition agreement and completes registration.
  6. The business office applies the awarded amount to the family's account monthly.

The family

The simplest, fastest, and least expensive way for a family to apply is online.

  1. Pick up an application at the school, or print one off our website.
  2. Collect financial information and complete the paper application.
  3. Go to www.online-cfa.com, pay the processing fee by credit / debit card, or bank debit, complete and review the application, press "submit."
  4. Receive an email confirming that the application was successfully submitted.
  5. Wait to hear from the school re. your scholarship award.
  6. Complete the enrollment process.
